I am using WWWBoard at
http://www.hostels.com/bulletinboard/
The script gets heavy use at this site (about 2,000
posts a month) and breaks within about a month of use.
The main file wwwboard.html
(in my case /bulletinboard/index.html) becomes incomplete
and users can no longer post to the board until fixed.
Have I reached the limits of WWWBoard? What is causing
this problem? Inadequate file locking?
Is there an easy way to remove the old posts and archive
them? (There's good information in there!) I could
move them to a sub-directory but I need to have an easy
way to remove the post followup tags from each message
so one can not post here and screwup the existing
discussion threads. Any suggestions?
